Spinal Cord Stimulators

A form of neuromodulation, spinal cord stimulation involves sending electrical signals to the nervous tissues in the spine to block pain signals to the brain. This therapy is used to alleviate unmanageable chronic pain associated with a number of conditions, such as residual sciatic pain after back surgery, peripheral neuropathy, but also rarer conditions like arachnoiditis, complex regional pain syndrome or chronic pain after shingles.
